Bush sells out AGAIN. More tyranny for the American people.

President Bush has once again sold out his country in exchange for his own political expediency. In spite of the wealth of information that documents Al Gore’s global warming hoax as completely fraudulent, Bush has accelerated our nation’s downward spiral to tyranny.

We desperately NEED someone to stand for the truth and do what is best for our country, not what is most convenient. Do you see any Democrat or Republican interested in doing right? I doubt it.

Have you ever stopped to think about why manufacturers of compact fluorescent bulbs lobbied so hard to get our feeble-minded politicians to pass the ban on incandescents? MAYBE IT’S TO BOOST THEIR OWN BUSINESS! You don’t say? So what Bush has done once again is force the American people to purchase products that they do not want in effort to subsidize large corporations.  But this is what he’s done before.

From Iain Murray’s article at the National Review:

President’s Global Warming Surrender: “It will be very bad” [Iain Murray]

[TIW: You're right about that, but it's better to say it will be very bad for the non-wealthy and non-elite Americans.]

We’re hearing some very bad things about the President’s likely unconditional surrender on global warming today.  One senior source suggested that the last line of sound defense had been breached and that “It will be very bad.”  I’d imagine he will request, against all evidence from Europe that this does anything but make consumers poorer and utilities richer, a cap and trade regime for energy utilities.

[TIW: Right again. Europe has proven almost every aspect of the liberal socialist agenda to be a complete disaster. How will it be different in the USA?]

I cannot emphasize too much how idiotic this is.

[TIW: It doesn't matter how idiotic it is: if Europe is doing it, we should do it too - right?]

At a time when the poor of the country and the world are feeling the twin crunches of credit being withdrawn and food and energy prices rising, jacking up energy prices farther will just add insult to injury.

[TIW: Shocking Reality Check: BUSH and the rest of our government don't care about the poor and the working people... With an elite political ruling class in power, the voice of the people and the concerns of the people are completely irrelevant.]

The fat cat traders of Wall Street will be licking their lips, of course.

[TIW: The political elite see government as a means to increase their own wealth. Why yes! Wall Street loves this kind of thing.]

Meanwhile, House and Senate Republicans and (yes, some) Democrats who have stood up for the American consumer against this insanity will be left hanging.

[TIW: The precious few.... we appreciate their efforts to do right. Too bad they will be gone soon.]

Those who voted for Bush

[TIW: DAMN! I wish I never voted for Bush!!!!!!!  I will NEVER vote Republican again!]

in the mistaken belief they wouldn’t get Gore’s policies will have been betrayed.

[TIW: With Bush it's been one betrayal after another. He's not only betrayed his supporters, but he's betrayed every single living American by not acting in the best interests of the country.  Bush has even betrayed the Constitution of the United States with impunity.]

The political center on energy and environment will be jerked massively to the left.  Some acheivement.

[TIW: Don't worry!  John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Obama HUSSEIN are all on the same page. Bush's legacy of betrayal will continue unabated after he is gone.]

Mr. Bush, if you think this will secure your legacy, you are right.  Your legacy will be just one word: Recession.

[TIW: Bush has to create a recession to make sure his friends, the Democrats, get an permanent  hold on American government.]

People need to get very, very angry about this.  I know I am.

[TIW: I'm angry too. Unfortunately, few others will get angry. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING BESIDES COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!!]
