It’s good news that the Iraqi army has managed to defeat Al Sadr’s militia in Basra. The one thing that continues to amaze me is that this Al Sadr guy is still alive. Remember when the US military had Al Sadr holed up in a mosque? We could have captured or killed him way back then, but Bush was too skeered to bomb a mosque: Too afraid to attack the enemy.

So, for what it’s worth, YIPPEE.
