The first Republican debate was held last night at the Ronald Reagan library in California. I suppose that the imagery is that each of the contenders wants to inherit the Reagan legacy. Oh well, don’t count on it. Flip-flopper opportunist Romney has emerged the front runner according to the poll at The Drudge Report  with 35% saying that he won the debate. The runner-up was Giuliani who is killing himself trying to conceal his pro-abortion viewpoint.  The only other candidate to make over 10% was Paul. I had even forgotten that he existed. My favorite, Tancredo seems like a lost cause at 5%.
