Keep Fighting Amnesty!
Will someone please come up with a workable plan to overcome amnesty?!! The amnesty fight requires a larger, more coordinated effort than what we currently have at our disposal. I like the way we can get the real news from sources outside of the MSM. I like how bloggers like Michelle Malkin highlight the outrageous conduct of our President, Senators, and Congressmen. The trouble is, the awareness is not enough. The anger is not enough. The practice of contacting all these people several times a day (as I do) is not enough. Right now we feel like our only option is option to fight the injustice of Amnesty by contacting Senators and our Traitor-in-Chief. I have called my Senators, my Representative (several times a day too), and the President. I have left messages (the White House Comment Line Voice Mail is full), I have sent emails, I have sent faxes. Like thousands of others I have worked overtime fulfilling my part of the battle. Unfortunately, our efforts are futile. For a few bucks thrown around as a show; for the cover of a sham amendment that sounds good, but will be eliminated after the vote; for the assurance of leaving on vacation on time; whatever the reason, they’ve got one because most of these people are immoral, unprincipled, irresponsible, incompetent, and interested in themselves rather than in the welfare of our nation.
Even more discouraging is Jeff Sessions - one who has been very bold in his opposition to Amnesty - is leaving the Senate to make a campaign fund raiser appearance with the evil, treacherous Bush (y’know the one who won’t pardon Scooter Libby, but has no problem with legalizing 20+ million illegal aliens). Jeff Sessions, if he were real, would refuse to appear with Traitor Bush. Besides, he should consider this matter as one of such import that he would not leave the Senate grounds until amnesty is defeated. From the article at RedState:
A conservative Senate GOP aide told me McConnell caved under pressure from the White House and Democrats. “They are going to roll over conservatives. They scheduled debate time and a vote for next week knowing full well that Jeff Sessions would be out of town.”
Sessions, a vocal opponent, will be in Alabama for a fundraiser with President Bush next Thursday. Sessions teamed with Senators Jim DeMint (R.-S.C.) and David Vitter (R.-La.) last week to take a principled stand against the bill despite tremendous pressure from its supporters. Sessions’ absence would put conservatives at a significant disadvantage.
So what are we going to do?

This so called welfare/reward for illegal’s Immigration Bill will only reward the Illegal’s, Mexico & the Democrat Party. If passed, it will overload our social services, schools & medical facilities, dilute our culture, add more illegal foks & family, cost trillions for the above and for social services and supplemental pay monthy for the unskilled. This Bill helps Mexico by their not having to deal with their own corrupt government. etc.
To see our “so called Republican Leaders” & President ruinning around, making backroom deals, without any regard to American Citizens wishes to close the boder FIRST. Senator Lott, espressed distain, for too much discussion from the citizens & talk radio. That comment was most alarming. To disregard Americans and try to sneak about making deals is totally disgusting. Who are they serving? Certainly not the Citizens of U.S. This is a very scary group of egos. Lott & McConnel even have their fax machines blocked. THEY DO NOT WISH TO HEAR FROM THE CITIZENS, THEY PRETEND TO SERVE. THEY NEED TO RETIRE WITH THEIR EGOS.
