MEDIA HUSH: Health Repercussions from Illegal Aliens
Tuberculosis, once virtually eradicated from the USA is now coming back at alarming rates. Here in South Carolina we had a case of TB surface in Clemson earlier this week. Now it’s here in Greenville. Out of 280 workers tested, half have now tested positive for TB. Just in case you are wondering, the employees at this Columbia Farms chicken plant are largely illegal (a.k.a. Mexicans, Columbians, Hondurans, etc.).
My understanding is that health screening is part of the legal immigration process. That makes sense too, because we don’t want people coming in from all over the world to be bringing their diseases with them. Now we as a nation have to deal with a revival of many severe and contagious diseases that previously were considered rare.
An associate of mine, when told of the outbreak of over 140 cases of tuberculosis in Greenville said, “Wow. That’s going to be a national news item!” Well, this would be a national news item IF the media was interested in reporting the news. Since the media is agenda-driven, they are doing everything possible to contain news like this since it impugns the illegal alien, open borders cause.
Here it is from The Greenville News (a.k.a. Pravda on the Reedy):

losby@greenvillenews.comState health officials tested 286 employees at a poultry processing plant in Greenville for tuberculosis as part of a “close-contact” investigation after a case of the lung disease was reported.
About half those workers had a positive skin test, which means they were exposed to TB at some point in their lives, said Thom Berry, spokesman for the state Department of Health and Environmental Control. They are not considered to be active or contagious, he said.
The testing follows a separate “close-contact” investigation involving an individual at Clemson University who tested positive for TB.
ACTION ITEM: Please contact YOUR Governor, Senators, U.S. Representatives, and Immigration (ICE) to find out how many illegal aliens in YOUR community have been diagnosed with TB or other contagious diseases.
