Sorry folks, I’m not talking about the war. I’m talking about the Gold Cup final that was in Chicago today. US beat Mexico by a score of 2-1. Yippeeeee!  Wahoooooo!

CHICAGO (June 23, 2007) - After leveling the match at 1-1, Benny Feilhaber put the United States ahead 2-1 with a full volley blast from the top of the arc into the far upper corner of the goal. The U.S. hung on for the win, earning their fourth Gold Cup Championship. Earlier in the second half, Landon Donovan got the comeback started by converting a penalty to draw the match even at one goal apiece.
