Voting on Bills and Amendments That Don’t Exist…

…or haven’t been read. Jim DeMint spoke eloquently today decrying the fact that the Senate is being asked to vote for a bill that keeps changing.

He asked for unanimous consent to have the new 400 page amendment to be read.

“There’s no intent to let this body know what is in this bill.”

DeMint called for votes on several key and logical requests for the amendments to be read; for the changes to be read; for the bill to be read. All his requests were killed by the objection of some wicked Jezebel Democrat wearing a yellow suit.

How disgusting - not only that the Democrats would want to force through something that has not been read, understood or debated - but that stinkin’ treacherous RINOs would go along with this nonsense!

I offer kudos and praise to our senator from South Carolina, Jim DeMint, for boldly exposing the treachery today.
