Today we get more excuses from Polipundit concerning Fred Thompson.  While a lot of folks are getting excited about Fred, the ominous and ever-present excuses make me very nervous.  First, I hear that most Bushites are backing Thompson (Bushites will never support a Conservative). Then there’s the worries about abortion and illegal immigration.

Sorry folks, a candidate that needs constant excuses and explanations is not a Conservative.  Please join me with the growing multitude that will not vote for someone just because he isn’t a Democrat!
