Bizarre anti-BJU protest attracts 3 participants

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Three men who said they disagree with how Bob Jones University interprets the Bible staged a protest today outside the school’s main entrance on Wade Hampton Boulevard.

I wonder why The Greenville News thinks that this is news. Come on! Is Greenville really that boring that the only thing to report on is three men protesting Bob Jones University? I despise Bob Jones University just as much as anyone else does, but come on - get a life!

Obama HUSSEIN’s preacher: HYPOCRITE

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

OK, you have a point. So what’s so freaking new about having a hateful man in a pulpit? Nothing. What’s so freaking new about having a hypocrite in a pulpit? Nothing. Just normal. What’s so freaking new about having a “preacher” living head and shoulders above the average parishioner? Not a whole lot.

So this really isn’t news when I tell you how Obama HUSSEIN’s “pastor” is building a $1.6 million home.  So much for being one with the people!  So much for his respect and concern for the members of his church.  He’s moving up and moving out on their backs… the people who he’s supposed to serve. How disgusting!  - But not news.  Where in America anyway is religion any different?

The cult of Jonesism being spread from Simpsonville, SC

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

Folks, I’ve told you before: It’s very hard to get away from Jonsers - especially here in Greenville County, South Carolina.  SermonAudio.com is nothing new, I’ve heard of it before, but now that it’s been featured in The Greenvile Pravda, I though you’d might want to read about it.  By the way, Jonseism promotes heresy, so there’s no way Truth in the Word could endorse the SermonAudio website.

From the article:

The Rev. Bruce Walker preaches to a Greenville congregation of fewer than 100 that doesn’t even have its own church building.

But his sermons have been downloaded thousands of times by people around the world, via a Web site that originates from an upstairs room in the home of a Simpsonville Internet entrepreneur.

More than 1 million sermons are downloaded each month from the site, SermonAudio.com, owned and operated by Steven Lee, a Korean-born Bob Jones University graduate who started this Web venture seven years ago.

Walker is just one of 5,000 preachers who are using the site to get their message out beyond the walls of their own churches.

Joel Osteen on Fox News Sunday

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

Any of you see Joel Osteen on Fox News Sunday?  Well, I did, just accidentally.  I’ve heard his name a lot so now I get to see and hear this guy first hand.  What do YOU think of him?

I think Osteen is a fraud and a sleaze ball.  He refuses to stand for any principle or doctrine of the Bible. He commends Mormons such as Harry Reid (D, Nevada) and Mitt Romney as Christians, even though Mormonism is clearly built on fraud.

According to what Osteen told Chris Wallace, he wants to throw a big net so everyone can get the message that God is good and wants to help them.  Therefore, he avoids any statements concerning sodomy, abortion, and anything else that might turn somebody off from contributing to Osteen’s massive kingdom.

I know enough about Joel Osteen now to understand that he’s just another “ditto” of a sleazy, money & power hungry fraudster: the type of people who have given religion a bad name for decades.

Greenville Disgraced Again: Jonsers Endorse Romney

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

The cultic pope of the freakish sect of Bob Jones University has endorsed Mitt Romney for President.  Of course, normal people in Greenville don’t give a rat’s a$$ what the heretical BJU thinks, but Drudge linked to it, so that makes it news. Let’s see what the current-cult-leader-moron-freak-fake Dr.-III has to say. From the article:

Bob Jones III endorses Romney for president

Dr. Bob Jones III, chancellor of the fundamentalist

[Hey - remember - the Jonsers decided that they are "preservationists," not "fundamentalists" several years ago]

Christian

[They call themselves "Christian," but lack the characteristics, virtues, and behaviors that one would expect from those who profess to be followers of Christ.]

university

[Yeah right. This is a cultic  school that self-propagates its own bizarre religious culture of BJU. It's hardly a school and a "university" in name only. The faculty is composed of few more than recycled Jonsers who couldn't make it in the real world (like most BJU graduates). The chancellor has an honorary doctorate and the president has a phony doctorate granted to him by his own subordinates.  Their accreditation is by an insignificant, fly-by-night association which they have unsuccessfully used to sell itself on credibility.]

in Greenville that bears his name, is looking past his religious differences with Gov. Mitt Romney

[Well, isn't that sweet!  The freaking Jonser III can force himself to overlook religious differences!  Who appointed him a freaking judge over anybody?]

and endorsing the Mormon for the Republican nomination for president,

[This wretched man is so self-absorbed he thinks that we're all sitting around waiting to hear who he wants to be president.]

he told The Greenville News this afternoon.

[Why did The Greenville News pay any attention to this non-story?]

This is all about beating Hillary,” Jones said.

[What an ignorant attitude to have!  Yepper, let's all abandon all principle and morality and vote for someone who isn't Hillary!  Damn!  I want to vote for someone for a change, not against someone. Republican candidates are counting on the Conservative vote going against Hillary.  Well, as of 2006, they cannot take the Conservative vote for granted any more. The majority of Conservatives are now committed to voting based on this wierd thing called "principle."]

“And I just believe that this man has the credentials both personally and ideologically in terms of his view about what American government should be to best represent the rank and file of conservative Americans.

[Fine, but Jonsey is ignoring the wealth of evidence that reveals that Romney is not a Conservative.]

“If it turns out to be Guiliani and Hillary we’ve got two pro choice candidates, and that would be a disaster.”

[Maybe, maybe not.]

Asked whether Romney’s religion was a stumbling block for him, Jones replied, “What is the alternative, Hillary’s lack of religion or an erroneous religion?

[First, who is to say that Mrs. Bill Clinton is void of religion?  After all, she's a Marxist Communist Socialist Stalinist anti-American traitor! Furthermore, where does Jonsey get off setting himself up as a validator of religions? What nerve this creep has in unilaterally declaring someone else's religion to be "erroneous!" Pravda The Greenville News  should have asked him about that.  This kind of "holier than thou, we're the only one's who are right and the rest of you are wrong" encapsulates the arrogant, defiant, unrealistic attitude of the Jonser cult.]

“As a Christian

[BOB JONES DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME. I am a Christian.  I resent him trying to assume a label that brings shame and reproach to my faith. He is a religious cult leader, not a Christian.  Maybe if he starts acting and speaking like a Christian, someone might respect his sorry a$$. But then again, if he were speaking and acting like a Christian, this news article would not exist, would it?]

I am completely opposed to the doctrines of Mormonism,” he said.

[So what? I am completely opposed to the doctrines of Jonesism!]

“But I’m not voting for a preacher. I’m voting for a president.

[It's great that you're voting Jonsey.  I remember years ago you said none of the candidates were worth voting for and that you weren't going to vote.  At least one area of your stinking life is improving.]

It boils down to who can best represent conservative American beliefs,

[OK, you think Romney can represent Conservative beliefs?  Fine. You're wrong though.]

not religious beliefs.”

[I don't care what his religion is. If he can convince me that he's the best, I will vote for him.  I won't vote for Hillary though.  I probably won't even vote Republican.]

Terry Sullivan, Romney’s South Carolina campaign manager said, “We’re proud to have the support of Dr. Jones and look forward to his help in delivering Gov. Romney’s conservative message to the voters.”

[I'd say, "SHUT UP YOUR PIE HOLE!" Your endorsement of Romney will do nothing but hurt the cause! Remember the disastrous results of the Jonser's endorsement of Jack Kemp?]

Sorry MRC, Tammy Faye was a whacked-out crook.

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

I just can’t be one of those teary-eyed folks who are grieving the death of the infamous Tammy Faye Bakker. Yes, I know that she got re-married, but I don’t know who to.

This woman became notorious for her life of excess that included air conditioned dog houses, piles of clothes and her clownish makeup. This woman was just plain ugly, but her faults go way beyond that. Together with her hubby Jimbo, she milked thousands of gullible, ignorant fools into financing their greedy lascivious lifestyle. In the name of religion, she bilked millions and was fully culpable with the crimes of their “ministry.”

Sure it was their fault. I could tell just by looking at her and her freaky husband that something was terribly wrong. Still, what she did with her life is inexcusable.

Differing from her husband, this wretched female never served any prison time for her criminal activity. She even managed to revive her charlatan lifestyle by becoming a female minister and again raping the stupid and gullible who persisted in their refusal to recognize this wench for what she was.

Listen to the twisted mishmash the MRC has spewed out concerning media coverage of this woman’s death:

“Tammy Faye Messner — who became infamous as Tammy Faye Bakker — died Saturday of cancer. Jim Bakker and his wife were rich fodder for the liberal media

[The media certainly is liberal, but what does that have to do with exposing two freaks who exploited the silly and ignorant to finance their lavish lifestyle in the name of religion? Those two crooks deserve to be exposed and should have been made to pay the price for all their wicked deeds. ]

as their “PTL” televangelism empire collapsed in 1988 and their financial excesses were exposed, right down to the air-conditioned doghouse. Liberal media types found the Bakkers to be the very model of Reagan’s Decade of Greed back then.

[Where does the MRC get off trying to make the Bakker's an example of lliberal media persecution? What has that to do with Reagan?  This is nothing short of a straw man argument concocted to coincide with the MRC's blind agenda.]

Apparently, that liberal line was not retired.

[It's not a liberal line folks: it's the truth. The Bakker's were crooks. They were frauds. They were despicable in that they used religious pretense to  build their riches.  Regardless of Liberal or Conservative, ALL people should condemn both these people and what they did to hurt innocent people and to detract from the credibility of Christianity in general.]

In his report on Messner’s death, Associated Press reporter Steve Hartsoe concluded: “For many, the TV image of then-Mrs. Bakker forgiving husband Jim’s infidelities, tears streaking her cheeks with mascara, became a symbol for the wages of greed and hypocrisy in 1980s America.”

For the Raleigh-datelined AP dispatch: news.yahoo.com

As the MRC’s Notable Quotables cited almost 17 years ago, in a December 29, 1990 column, then-former Washington Post editor and then-current columnist Haynes Johnson asserted:
“To the self-indulgent age of the ’80s and to the characters that gave it special flavor at home — Oliver L. North and Ronald Reagan, Michael Milken and Ivan Boesky, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker,

[This is way out of line. I agree with MRC on this. Jim and Tammy Faye have nothing to do with great Americans such as Ronald Reagan and Oliver North. To make such an association is preposterous.]

Arthur Laffer and his curve, the Yuppies and the leveraged buyout dealmakers — good riddance.”

Johnson — one of the Post’s most dramatic liberal hacks — was a regular on Washington Week in Review and The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS. For a time, Johnson was even included mysteriously on the NewsHour’s panel of historians.

I join in the chorus of all those with a sense of decency and justice to say to Tammy Faye, “GOOD RIDDANCE!”  I hope she enjoys her time in Hell.

Sodomite Lutheran Pastor Defrocked

Sunday, July 8th, 2007

In an era when politically correct religion has trumped any semblance of adherence to Holy Writ, the Lutherans have mysteriously removed a sodomite from the position of pastor in a Lutheran church. Knowing that for decades the Lutherans haven’t given a blast about what the Bible says, the fact that a sodomite is under the condemnation of God should have no bearing on his ability to be the pastor of a church - right?

Gay Lutheran Pastor Defrocked - News Story - WGCL Atlanta

ATLANTA — The gay pastor of Atlanta’s oldest Lutheran church was removed from his denomination’s clergy roster Monday in an appeals committee decision, ending a case that began when the pastor disclosed he was in a same-sex relationship.

But the Rev. Bradley Schmeling said Thursday he will not leave the pulpit of St. John’s Lutheran Church, a decision that could open the church to disciplinary action from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

“The congregation issued a call to me in 2000 and as far as we are concerned, that hasn’t changed,” Schmeling said.

Later in the article is this amazing quote from the sodomite pastor:

Schmeling said he is “disheartened” that the decision “gives the impression the church is more interested in rules than in compassion.”

The reasonable assumption (one that is not safe by any means) is that a “church” would be interested in following the Bible. For sure, the Bible is full of compassion, and so are the followers of Christ. The assertion, though, that a sodomite who is indeed in the bondage of Satan should be allowed to preside over a “church” is insane! The authority of God and the Bible should govern “church” order, not a twisted definition of compassion.

Of course, what can be said about parishioners who would participate in a “church” ruled by a sodomite?  Are they ignorant of Biblical teaching on the matter, or are they blinded by the same Satanic darkness as has beset their pastor?

Although I am in favor of allowing people to decide for themselves, I do not understand the value of attending a “church” where someone so absolutely and blatantly contrary to God is in authority.

UPDATE: New Charges at Tabernacle Children’s Home

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

Ex-Children’s Home Director Accused Of Sex Assaults
Alleged Abuse Happened In Late ’70s, Early ’80s

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — Months after two former employees of a children’s home were charged in connection with sexual abuse alleged to have occurred at the home in the late ’80s and early ’90s, another former director has been charged with sexually assaulting two children at the same home years before.

Greenville County sheriff deputies arrested Duain A. Whittemore, 66, former director of Tabernacle Baptist Church’s children’s home, on Thursday.

A woman, who is now 44, said that when she was 13 years old, Whittemore molested and raped her. The woman contacted the sheriff’s office after seeing stories regarding the arrests of two other Tabernacle employees. Whittemore is also charged with assaulting another resident of the home.

In the previous case, Gregory Jones, 50, who lives in Hiram, Ga., is charged with committing lewd acts. A man who is now 27, told deputies that he was sexually assaulted by Jones when he lived at the home. He said that the molestation began when he was 7 and continued for several years. Perry Sims, 58, another former director of the home, who lives in Sylacauga, Ala., is charged with child neglect and failure to report child abuse.

Jones and Sims were both released on bond

Whittemore was taken into custody in Transylvania County, N.C. He is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor between 1976 and 1984. He has since been released on bond.

The Greenville Sheriff’s Office said they are continuing to look for other adults who may have been victimized as children while living at a church home.

Deputies said that there is no indication of any abuse occurring at the home currently.

The attorney for the Children’s Home said that they “take these charges seriously and look forward to the day when the matter is heard before a jury and justice is done.”

Investigators said they believe there may be other victims and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
