Genetically modified crops could feed starving people, but are suppressed for flaky political reasons. Similarly, moonbat do-gooders have managed to suppress the use of DDT in Africa, saving many put-upon mosquitoes but condemning millions of children to death. At least they mean well, supposedly.

But liberals are perfectly willing to help Africans if it means confiscating your money and giving it to socialist dictators to blow on weapons and palaces.

Nations around the world have learned one thing over the past five decades: any ally of the United States is destined to get screwed. Georgia is only the latest.

In Georgia, we have a nation that is somewhat aligned with the US on many issues and - being close to Russia - their friendship is essential to security. For cryin’ out loud! Georgia even sent troops to Iraq to help GW Bush present a facade of a “coalition.” Now that Georgia needs help, Bush is flipping them off.

Me? I don’t care how inconvenient it is to intervene on the behalf of an ally, but doing so is essential. The US has stood idly by as millions of our “friends” were killed… waiting for our assistance which never arrived.  Here we go again.

Meanwhile, the Democrat Communist Media in the US will not issue calls for Russia to stop their slaughter of the innocent. They want to tell us that Russia (the communists) is good and Georgia (a democracy) is bad.
