The Culture of Corruption

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

Don’t listen to the Democrat SCUM that accuses Republicans of a culture of corruption.  This is just in from Polipundit:

Take the Democrat journey of sleaze from New Jersey to D.C.  How could anyone pull that lever for anyone associated with these people?

STARTLING REVELATION: Hungarian Politicians Same As All Others!

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5359250.stm

Whoever would have thunk it? A lying politician? No, that can’t be so. I suppose we Americans can take some solace in the fact that we’re not the only ones with lying, demented, psychotic elected officials.

Like a refreshing breeze, this politician was actually caught on tape telling the truth! Yes he did! And in doing so, he proves himself not-quite-so-mentally-handicapped as he wanted the people to think he was:

“In excerpts broadcast on state radio, Mr Gyurcsany candidly admitted his government had accomplished “nothing” and had been lying for “the last year and a half to two years”.”We lied morning, noon and night,” he said in a speech punctuated by obscenities. “

The tradgedy is that - without hyperbole - we could take these words and apply them to every single American politician. They know full well that they have done nothing and that they have lied to the people concerning every matter conceivable. Now if we could just get it on tape…..

Politicians Boost Meth Use in USA!

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

Oakleaf @ PoliPundit exposes the results of the clampdown on meth ingredients in USA. Because of the tightened supply on sudafed and cough medicine, imported meth is now more cost-effective.  Coupled with this is another new incentive for illegal migrants to come to the USA: transporting meth!

“the unexpected result of a strong law enforcement push against home meth labs and new limits on the purchase of cold remedies used to make the drug….  But the imported meth has really hit us hard. … It’s cheaper now to buy it on the streets.”

So next time some freakin’ bleeding heart lying politician creep goes around talking about controlling illegal drugs, don’t believe him.  The American political machine continues to work overtime ensuring a lucrative domestic market for illegal drugs.

Moore, Sanford Differ Slightly on Government Indoctrination of Youth

Friday, September 15th, 2006

The only candidate I will vote for Governor is one in favor of complete educational freedom in South Carolina.

http://www.greenvillenews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060915/NEWS01/60915005

As the candidates for SC Governor squabble over who supported Government Charter Schools the most, keep in mind that neither of them favor giving parents more ability to direct their tax money to the schools their children attend.

Startling though, is the reiteration of the misinformation concerning educational freedom for all:

Gutmann expressed surprise at Sanford’s reaction “since this is the only education issue the candidates agree on,” but added that Moore “is adamantly opposed to Mark Sanford’s plan to take our tax dollars out of public schools to help our wealthiest families send their kids to private schools, and he voted against Sanford’s $500 million cuts from public schools.”

Indeed, the citizens with lower incomes are the ones who have the most to gain.  At this time, economics compel them to keep their children enrolled in failing Government Schools.  The extraordinary amount of money the state wastes on indoctrinated ignorance per student should be allocated for each student’s education at the school the parents believe is best.

Gutman, Moore, Sanford, et. al. all comprehend one fact: the condition of our schools and the quality of education provided by the government is inferior to the point that no one would deliberately choose Government School for their children.

How Unskilled Immigrants Hurt Our Economy

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

From City Journal, read about the harm illegals are doing to our economy.

“…[illegal] immigrant families cost each native-born household in California an additional $1,200 a year in taxes.”

“…native-born residents are paying up to ten times more in state and local taxes than immigrants generate in economic benefits…”

“…welfare and other social programs are a magnet drawing certain types of immigrants—nonworking women, children, and the elderly—and keeping them here when they run into difficulty.”How Unskilled Immigrants Hurt Our Economy
Steven Malanga

A handful of industries get low-cost labor, and the taxpayers foot the bill.

The day after Librado Velasquez arrived on Staten Island after a long, surreptitious journey from his Chiapas, Mexico, home, he headed out to a street corner to wait with other illegal immigrants looking for work. Velasquez, who had supported his wife, seven kids, and his in-laws as a campesino, or peasant farmer, until a 1998 hurricane devastated his farm, eventually got work, off the books, loading trucks at a small New Jersey factory, which hired illegals for jobs that required few special skills. The arrangement suited both, until a work injury sent Velasquez to the local emergency room, where federal law required that he be treated, though he could not afford to pay for his care. After five operations, he is now permanently disabled and has remained in the United States to pursue compensation claims….

The Damnation of the Republican Party

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

John McIntyre over at RCP exemplifies the cause of Republican ineffectiveness:

“Chafee’s win yesterday is good news for GOP chances of holding the Senate, as the more conservative Laffey would have had no chance of winning the general in November.”

We had a real chance to get rid of the RINO Liberal Liar Chafee.  He’s a Democrat working under the pseudonym “Republican.” Still, the Republican Party actively sought to destroy the more honest Laffey strictly upon the supposed odds of winning against the Democrats.

Clearly stated, here is the reason the Republican Party offers no hope to America:  Winning is more important than principle.

Rather than committing to principles, promoting them, arguing for them, and winning with them, Republicans will sacrifice all that is good and just and right in the name of maintaining power.  OK, suppose the Republicans are successful in retaining their majority position in the government.  Now what?  What good has it done to take a bunch of unAmerican, unprincipled, selfish, immoral creeps, rename them “Republicans,” and continue running our nation into Hell?  No good whatsoever.

Let me tell you one more time:  The Republican Party is not the party of conservatives. The Republican party is not the party of morality.  The Republican Party is the beneficiary of the damnable “Lesser of Two Evils” philosophy.

We will never get effective leadership in American politics until we stop settling for “less evil” start demanding good and take a stand and let the Republicans LOSE!

Here’s Hoping Graham has a Palmetto Problem!

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

A great article taking an objective view of Sen. Lindsey Graham’s status within the Palmetto State.  Let’s all hope he goes down in flames!

Read the article: http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/archives/2006/09/grahams_palmett.html

“One veteran GOP operative who opposes Graham said that Graham has irritated the state’s conservatives by joining the Gang of 14, voting to raise certain taxes and siding with those in the Senate working on comprehensive immigration reform, rather than taking an enforcement-only approach. Graham has managed to further frustrate conservatives, the operative went on, by working with prominent Democrats in his own legislative efforts — including Sens. Ted Kennedy (D-MA), Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Hillary Clinton (D-NY).”

“But his actions and demeanor have riled particularly those partisans in his state who think they deserve a senator whose vote they don’t have to worry about.”

After reading that article, go ahead and read about how our treacherous senator is trying to get moderate on Iraq. Going against the truth and reality seems to be Graham’s specialty these days, so not too surprising.

9/11’s Effects Still Evolving

Monday, September 11th, 2006

Most everyone recalls the moment that the attacks on the World Trade Center and on the Pentagon occurred.  We all watched and listened to how the Flight 93 story developed into a heroic effort by those already doomed to die that spared many lives - assumedly in Washington DC.

Questions remain that are still unanswered. How was the government able to so quickly identify the hijackers even though they supposedly used false names and everything on board was consumed by fire?  Why were there no airplane parts at the Pentagon?  What about the indications of a missle taking down Flight 93?  What about that airplane blew up in the air shortly after 9/11?  We don’t even recall the flight number that killed those people - do we?  I do not suggest that I subscribe to any conspiracy theories, but I do assert that some fantastic details about 9/11 have gone unexplained.

Then there’s the American Government’s response; one that is typical of its mentality:  throw money at the problem.  Millions of $$ have been provided to airlines, businesses, and family members of those who died that day.  Millions that were given on top of privately held insurance policies.  Millions of $$ that were taken out of salaries around the nation through convenient payroll deduction.  We are now tied up in the nation of Iraq justified by a number of flimsy and spurious reasons.

Billions of $$ have been spent limiting the liberty of the American people in a supposed attempt to make us more secure. Still, we are more vulnerable than ever: if not to terrorists, to the anti-constitutional factions that desire to make citizens mindless automatons that support the state. Bush has managed to alienate virtually every conservative citizen in the USA though his blatant inconsistancy.  He says the nation must be more secure, then he encourages strangers from Mexico to violate our borders and our laws in their efforts to re-conquer Amercia.

These few reasons are just an example of why I have difficulty joining in with all the 9/11 anniversary hype.  I wish it didn’t happen.  I am sad that so many people died.  I wish I knew the Government was telling the truth.  I wish that I had a chance to give, rather than Billions given though Bush.  I wish our government was trustworthy and that it operated in a way that did not generate constant suspicion.
