WASHINGTON (AP) — Determined to challenge President Bush, Senate Democrats are drafting legislation to limit the mission of U.S. troops in Iraq, effectively revoking the broad authority Congress granted in 2002, officials said Thursday.

While these officials said the precise wording of the measure remains unsettled, one draft would restrict American troops in Iraq to combating al-Qaida, training Iraqi army and police forces, maintaining Iraq’s territorial integrity and otherwise proceeding with the withdrawal of combat forces.

The shallow-minded, desperate Republicans that are hoping for recovery in 2008 are all giddy about the recent sparks flying between Obama Hussein and Hillary Clinton. I for one am not going to get on the “Democrat on Democrat” violence bandwagon.

Even after getting soundly defeated by voters with only a singular “anti-Republican” mandate, Republicans, RINOs, and Conservatives fail to credit the Demofascists with one thing: they are smart, devious, and deceptive.

The Democrats have absolutely nothing to talk about. They have no principles. They have no ideas to propose. They have nothing to contribute to American society except criticism, complaints, derision, and debauchery.

In the midst of such a boring, hum-drum campaign, the Demofascist left is desperate to compete with Britney Spears and Anna Nicole for headline space. What better way to generate interest in their campaign but with a psudo-sparring of words?

Just ignore the fake arguing among the anti-American leftist fringe. They are all friends. Unlike the Republicans and the right however, they are united as they work toward their common goals.

Not only should Hillary get her butt out of South Carolina, she should butt out as well.  News reports of her meddling in the state’s Confederate American Flag situation is obscene.

First, let’s get the flag of the unconstitutional Federal Government off the statehouse dome.  The stars and stripes have no Constitutional jurisdiction over the state.  In fact, the state has jurisdiction over the Federal government.  If we must allow the flag of Tyranny to continue to fly, let it fly in its proper place BELOW the South Carolina flag.

As far as the Confederate Flag, it is the representation of constitutional government. The flag of freedom. The flag of states governed by American principles. It not only belongs on the state house grounds, it belongs atop the capital dome!

Folks, I was pretty excited with the prospect of seeing Rush on the Half-Hour News Hour on Sunday night.  I was done with all my stuff by about 8:00 that evening, so with anticipation, I stayed up until 10 to view the big event.  It was sorry.  It was lousy.  It was not worth it.  What about Rush?  He was OK, but he was only on for about 45 seconds. The show was sluggish at best and had largely lame satire.  A story about someone driving an ecologically friendly car took up more time than anything else.  Whoever the person was with the car, I never heard of him.

If you’re tempted to stay up and watch this pathetic show again, just remember: You have been warned!
