Congress has no jurisdiction over WWE
Saturday, July 28th, 2007I hope McMahon tells Congress to “Shove it!” Where do these egotistical maniacs get off thinking that they can investigate any business they want? Some play-actor freaks out and kills his family. So what? It’s terrible! It’s heinous! It’s sad! But, it’s not a matter for the government of the United States of America to waste its time on.
All the members of Congress have developed a God complex. How about joining me in forcing them to have a Constitution complex?
McMahon asked by congressional committee to hand over records
In a move that significantly widens the impact of wrestler Chris Benoit’s murder-suicide case, two congressmen who opened steroid hearings into Major League Baseball have requested that World Wrestling Entertainment provide records pertaining to the WWE’s testing policies and practices.
In a three-page letter dated Friday, Rep. Henry Waxman, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Tom Davis, its ranking minority member, asked WWE to provide a series of documents intended to give the committee and its investigation a detailed look at WWE’s drug-testing policy, including information about the results of performance-enhancing drug tests on pro wrestlers.
“The tragic deaths of World Wrestling Entertainment star Chris Benoit and his family have raised questions about reports of widespread use of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs by professional wrestlers,” the congressmen wrote.
“These allegations — which include first-hand reports of steroid use by prominent former wrestlers — have swirled around the WWE for over a decade. Investigations by journalists have described a culture of performance-enhancing drug use in professional wrestling, high fatality rates among young professional wrestlers, and an inability or unwillingness of WWE to address these problems.”
The letter from Waxman and Davis described WWE wrestlers as “multimedia stars that have an influence on the behavior and attitudes of the nation’s youth.”
“WWE has a responsibility to do everything possible to eliminate the use of performance-enhancing drugs — or the perception of such use — by its wrestlers.”
The records request is wide ranging, and parallels what was asked of Major League Baseball. It seeks a list of drugs covered by its policies; the entity that conducts its drug testing; the number of tests it conducts annually; the protocols followed after a positive test; and the procedures for awarding exemptions.
YOU ARE SICK AND DEMENTED IF…
Friday, July 27th, 2007YOU WANT TO SEE MRS. BILL CLINTON’S BREASTS.
Someone says something about her manliness and suddenly she lowers her neckline. First it’s blatant pandering. Second, nothing about Mrs. Bill Clinton is feminine. Finally, she is gross! Cover yourself up, WITCH!
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign has sent out a fundraising letter calling a Washington Post fashion writer’s column on Clinton’s cleavage “grossly inappropriate” and asking donors “to take a stand against this kind of coarseness and pettiness in American culture.”
One week after the piece, by fashion writer Robin Givhan, took note of the Democratic candidate’s low neckline during a speech on the Senate floor, senior Clinton adviser Ann Lewis urged donors to help fight treatment she termed “insulting.”
Someone should tell “Them” that there’s nothing up there…

U.S. Military withdrawing from… the US Border!
Thursday, July 26th, 2007The National Guard must be too effective along the border. We’ve got to make it easier for the criminal invaders to get over here - right?
Fewer guardsmen to assist along border

TUCSON, Ariz. — Things are starting to wind down for National Guard troops deployed across the U.S. and Mexican border.
Next month, the number of National Guard troops along the border will be cut in half from 6,000 to 3,000 nationally.
In Arizona, troop reductions will fall from 2,400 to 1,200, said National Guard Capt. Kristine Munn.
The pullout started July 1 and is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 1.
Since the troops took up their positions along the border, they have helped agents get back to patrolling the border.
During their time at the border, Guard members have manned radios, repaired vehicles and helped build roads and fences.
National Guard troops have also served as an extra set of eyes and ears at border observation posts.
Cutting the ranks of National Guard troops will be detrimental to the Border Patrols efforts to slow illegal immigration, said agency officials, the local union and a former agency supervisor.
If the feds are going to cut the number of National Guard troops working along the border, it will mean there are fewer bodies out there to deter and observe and report intrusions, said Dave Stoddard, a former Border Patrol supervisor who retired in 1996 and lives in Bisbee.
Not everyone is upset about the troop pullout.
The presence of National Guard troops has increased the militarization of the border and forced illegal entrants to try crossing more remote and hostile areas, said Jennifer Allen, director of Border Action Network, a Tucson-based immigrant rights organization.
Allen said they are glad the number of troops is decreasing, but it would be even better if there was no National Guard presence on the border.
President Bush ordered the troops to provide temporary relief along the border while the Border Patrol worked toward adding 6,000 new agents to reach a total of 18,000 by the end of 2008.
Schilling Speaks out against ‘Roids
Wednesday, July 25th, 2007One of the few people to be vocal against the cheaters in baseball including Barry Bonds has spoken out again:
NEW YORK — Curt Schilling says that Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire’s refusals to address accusations of steroids use are tantamount to admissions.
“If someone wrote that stuff about me and I didn’t sue their [butt] off, am I not admitting that there’s some legitimacy to it?” he said on HBO’s “Costas Now.”
Schilling said “this will be the steroids era forever” and proposed that Jose Canseco and Rafael Palmeiro should be punished for steroids use.
“Jose Canseco admitted he cheated his entire career,” Schilling said. “Everything he ever did should be wiped clean. I think his MVP should go back and should go to the runner-up.”
Rick Moran exposes Democrat fears of FOX News:

Why The Democrats are Ducking Fox News
Rick Moran
If there was any question as to why the Democrats were refusing to hold a debate sponsored by Fox News, last night’s broadcast of the YouTube debate on CNN should be self explanatory.
Many of the questions chosen among thousands of YouTube submissions appeared to be selected more for their entertainment value than for the way the question addressed a specific issue. And those questions that did confront an issue were so general in nature it allowed even the dumbest of candidates (Biden) to hit it out of the park. In the midst of a war involving 160,000 Americans in Iraq, there was no question - not one - about terrorism. And given the recent eruption on Capitol Hill over immigration, not one question was directed toward that issue either.
Instead, you had people asking questions in costume. Or with props as the poor fellow who asked a question about gun control while cradling his rifle and calling it “my baby”. Senator Biden, not getting the joke, called the young man “mentally unbalanced” and suggested he shouldn’t even possess a gun. Most of the questions were the kind of earnest citizen kinds of questions you hear at a televised town hall meeting. And Anderson Cooper obliged the Democrats beautifully by doing his earnest reporter shtick which may not be very deep or penetrating as far as getting at the truth but sure looks good on TV.
I have yet to see a Democratic debate moderated by anyone who actually wants to hold these politicians feet to the fire and get them off their talking points in order to address the substance of an issue. Contrast CNN’s kid gloves treatment of Democrats with Chris Wallace’s boring in on Giuliani’s abortion flip flops or Romney’s switcheroo on gay marriage when the Republican candidates debated on Fox News last month. Their answers left them wide open to criticism by other candidates on the stage which made for a somewhat more lively night.
USA Providing FREE Medical Care in Central America
Tuesday, July 24th, 2007Why the fat is the U.S. military going to Central America to give the people free medical care? What’s the problem? Can’t wait for the freakin’ invaders to make the trek across the Rio (Grande, that is)? I am tired of having money from MY income stolen from me and used to pay for welfare programs for our enemies!

Obama HUSSEIN Priority ONE: Meet with enemy dictators
Tuesday, July 24th, 2007Obama seemed to commit himself to talks with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bashar al-Assad, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, and Kim Jong Il — separately, without precondition. He even said it was “a disgrace that we have not spoken to them.”
What more can I say? Only proves what I’ve said all along: Democrats the party of oppression, tyranny, terrorism and the infliction of human suffering.
A LONG TIME COMIN’!
