Celebrities & Wealthy make fire news

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

Homes burn all the time. Fires happen around the world. Somehow, the news media thinks that we care because it’s the wealthy and celebs who have been burned out. Listen, I don’t care. These people in Malibu are wealthy beyond belief. They’ve got three or four homes. They’ve got insurance out the wazoo and somehow we’re supposed to feel their pain.

They have no pain. They are well prepared for the loss. Tough sh$t on them. I’ll care about folks who lose everything and experience true devastation.

New Hampshire: Earliest Primary

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this election business earlier than I’ve ever been sick of it before. All these states trying to manipulate the process for their own benefit is disgusting.

The 2008 election campaign started in 2006. I am sick of it. I’m sick of Hillary Clinton’s lies, bigotry and unaccountability.  I’m sick of Obama HUSSEIN’s lies, bigotry and unaccountability.  I’m sick of the sissified pansy John Edwards and his lies bigotry and unaccountability. FURTHERMORE, I AM SICK OF ALL THE AMERICANS WHO ARE SO VILE, IMMORAL, UNPRINCIPLED, TREACHEROUS, IRRESPONSIBLE AND IGNORANT AS TO SUPPORT ANY DEMOCRAT FOR ANY OFFICE.  Democrat is the party of insanity. They have nothing but name calling and lies to campaign on, yet mindless, stupid Americans willing to vote for the party that screws them year after year: The Democrats.

From the article:

“New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner today announced that the Granite State’s first-in-the-nation primary will take place on Jan. 8, the earliest date ever for a primary ballot in a presidential election year.”

Malkin debunks Hillary’s fake questions

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

Let’s face it, Mrs. Bill Clinton is scum. She is afraid of taking questions in public. If you thought the FEMA setup was bad, Hillary’s is worse, and I bet the situation goes way deeper than we’ve been allowed to see. This woman is a fake. She is so afraid of exposing herself, she feels she must control all questions that are asked of her.

Black leaders work to keep blacks uneducated

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

There’s something kooky going on when you see a group come out in support of South Carolina’s failing Government school system. We’ve got schools packed with gangs, illegal aliens, AIDS, drugs, sex, and violence. We’ve got high schools graduating morons like Miss South Carolina - and worse. Every aspect of the Government education system has been proven as dysfunctional. While they have learned all about condoms, birth control and perverted lifestyles, students in South Carolina’s Government schools seem to have failed teaching anything constructive.  As in most cases, minorities in South Carolina Government schools trail in virtually every academic sector.  Why then do black leaders want to preserve failure?  The answer is very clear to me: black leaders want to keep blacks poor and undereducated so that the black leaders can have power.

While many parents are willing to work hard and endure extraordinary hardship to keep their children out of the Government system, education right now is primarily reserved for the wealthy who can afford to keep their children in private schools. In light of the failure of Government education, why would anyone oppose giving more people the opportunity to get a better education for their children? In fact, I don’t even favor closing Government schools!  I say, let the market decide what schools open and which schools close.

South Carolina spends over $11,000 per student for Government education. This amount is in excess of most private schools in the state. Suppose we gave that money per student to the parents so they can decide which school their children should attend.  How many people do you think would choose Government school?  Oh, I’d say “about zero!”  Which would you choose: a school filled with corruption, hatred for America, sex, lax academic standards, gangs, and perversion or a school that enforced discipline, moral behavior, academic excellence and appreciation for American achievement?

The school system is afraid of accountability. They would no longer be able to stay at a non-performing level because the schools that perform would be the schools that got the business!  The black leaders are afraid of losing their power.  Even some wealthy oppose opportunity in education because they know that more well-educated students will force their own children to compete.  In the end though, everyone wins with choice in education. The standard is raised for all students the crime and pregnancy rates decline. More students can qualify for better opportunities in college. Better educated people can get better jobs. Better jobs offer more people better lives.  Let’s get with it people! Let people choose the education for their children!

Huckabee: more momentum needed and FAST!

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

Mike Huckabee first got my attention on the FOX News debate. He seems like a great guy and a man of principle.  There are some people who put him the light of a big government spender (which I don’t like), but then again, plenty of unsubstantiated rumor-mongering exists about Romney, Rudy, Fred, and Ron, so the allegations may be true, but maybe not.   Either way, Huckabee  is going to have my support should he make it so far as South Carolina.

From the article:

Mike Huckabee, a wise-cracking, guitar-strumming, Baptist pastor has leapt into a conservative void and shot into contention in the unpredictable 2008 Republican White House race. Huckabee, 52, was hitherto best known for being born in the same town, Hope, as Bill Clinton, and shedding more than 100 pounds from his once portly frame.

But, partly by exploiting discontent among Christian conservatives with the Republican field, Huckabee, a witty former Arkansas governor, has powered into second place in polls in Iowa, 65 days before the state’s crucial caucuses.

“The religious right vote in the Iowa caucuses is a substantial bloc, and if you secure that support you are a serious player,” said Cary Covington, a political science professor at the University of Iowa.

“Huckabee is, I think at a tipping point, he is going to need to do something splashy, a big financial haul, or a major endorsement,” Covington said.

Huckabee’s style is to leaven his staunch conservatism — pro gun rights, doubts about the theory of evolution, opposition to gay marriage, and hawkish rhetoric on Iraq and the war on terror, with levity.

At an education forum at Northern Iowa University Wednesday, Huckabee, author of a book “Quit Digging Your Grave with a Knife and Fork,” slipped into stand-up comic mode when a mobile phone rang.

“That’s probably Dick Cheney wanting to take me hunting, and I am not going with him, OK?” he quipped, mocking the vice president’s infamous shooting incident.

Such patter, and the fact that several of his Republican rivals are trying to appear something they are not — lifelong social conservatives — helps Huckabee to come across as humble and at ease.

Though a conservative, Huckabee is an outspoken advocate of spending government money on education, and healthcare for poor children.

I don’t care about Pat Robertson. Do you?

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

Joseph Farah is disappointed that Pat Robertson endorsed Rudy for president. Just so YOU know, Pat Robertson does not speak for me. I believe his “Christianity” is false and different from mine, so I don’t really care.
