Illegal immigration is emerging as a top issue in this year’s U.S. Senate race in North Carolina.
Sen. Elizabeth Dole, the Republican incumbent, and Kay Hagan, the Democratic challenger, both made public appearances this week alongside county sheriffs in which they talked about how local law-enforcement officials can cooperate with federal immigration authorities.
But the candidates disagree on the effectiveness and the financial cost of a program that allows local officials to screen criminal suspects for immigration status.
Dole is a big supporter of the program, which is nicknamed the “287(g) program” after the section of federal immigration law that established it.
In North Carolina, four sheriff’s offices in four counties — Alamance, Cabarrus, Gaston and Mecklenburg — currently use the program at their county jails, and three other counties — Cumberland, Henderson and Wake — are training to use the program. The Durham city police department also has the program, which allows jailers to check the immigration status of people who have been arrested for other crimes.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think Elizabeth Dole is worth her weight in sh*t.

Through the misnomer “Security,” Bush has furthered the cause of the “New World Order” while brining in strong-arm government oppression of citizens through the back door. What’s the only thing less trustworthy as the Democrat Party? The Globe of course! But we’re all intrigued by their latest claim that Bill and Hillary are setting up a divorce. Aside from the money and the political connections, I cannot fathom any female ever wanting to be married to such a slime-ball as Bill Clinton. And of course, Hillary Clinton being a lesbian? That is very believable. I can’t imagine any human being alive wanting to be married to a beetch like her. Her only hope is another woman. A sure sign of tremendous desperation.

Perhaps the greatest EMBARRASSMENT the USA has EVER had to deal with is the piece-of garbage Jimmy Carter. He’s at it again… this time blabbing secrets out in the open. This man is so freaking old, it’s surprising that he isn’t dead yet. However, if Bush can do something to silence Carter’s flapping lips, I think that would be one worthwhile accomplishment of the Bush years.

“The US has more than 12,000 nuclear weapons, the Soviet Union has about the same, Great Britain, and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more. We have a phalanx of enormous weaponry . . . not only of enormous weaponry but of rockets to deliver those missiles on a pinpoint accuracy target,” he said, according to a transcript of his remarks.
While the existence of Israeli nuclear weapons is widely assumed, Israeli officials have never admitted their existence, and US officials have stuck to that line in public for years.

Surely Conservatives won’t be suckered into believing that the Government is serious about immigration enforcement just because of a couple symbolic raids. I remember that raid in Iowa was a big splash in the news and involved multiple Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. Why won’t they do one of those raids here in Greenville? Good places for raids would be (1) the Columbia Farms chicken plant, (2) the Fairgrounds Market, (3) the Mexican Flea Market on Cedar Lane Road, (4) the Berea Wal-Mart, (5) Labor Finders, (6) any car wash, any of several hundred Tiendas.
I don’t think that any Conservatives will be placated by just a few token antics by ICE. I think Conservatives are looking for a consistent, methodical, relentless pursuit of illegals resulting in their extrication from this country. This extrication should coincide with an aggressive establishment and defense of the borders of the USA that implement passive devices such as walls and active deterrents to illegals such as minefields and automated machine guns.

Joining the recent trend of discrimination against the home schooled, Subway has banned home schoolers from participating in their story contest. Y’all better get ready… the Demofascists are fixin’ to launch an all out assault on any school that dares to provide education outside of the Government Indoctrination School system. I don’t home school, but I am on the side of anyone who is being persecuted by leftists.
I don’t care if Subway offers it’s foot-long subs for FREE, I will never walk into another Subway store for the rest of my life.
